Steve In a Speedo got video of the last person to make the bike cutoff at Ironman Wisconsin last weekend. I helped that person across the line and into transition. It was the most heart wrenching and inspiring moment of the weekend for me.

That was a GREAT moment when she got across the line in time! Is so funny that I got you in the video - I had no idea!...
Cool videos - brings tears to my eyes, seriously. But I'm also remembering Silverman last year, where I too was a bike catcher - and for those last few minutes, I totally morphed into the BikeNazi! Most riders were totally shell-shocked coming in, since it had already been such a cold, rainy, windy day, and everyone who had time to spare, I gently directed them to the mats. The people with a few seconds to spare? "Move, NOW, off your bike, get off, MOVE, get over that mat, GO!"
Fun times. :-)
